United States: Temple Beth-El San Antonio
Good Deeds Day 2024 in this Texas city was filled with activities aimed at making a positive impact on our world.
The volunteers of Temple Beth-El made it big – from cleaning a city park to donating blood, delivering flowers to senior citizens in San Antonio, their efforts truly made a difference.
Bosnia Herzegovina: Gerontološki Centar Derventa
For this year’s Good Deeds Day, Gerontološki Centar Derventa, in collaboration with Lokalni Volonterski Servis Derventa, created eco-friendly flowers from old tires and vases from recycled rain boots. Through these creative recycling projects, they managed to repurpose plastics and protect the environment simultaneously.
Kyrgyzstan: Good Deeds Day Kyrgyzstan
Ukraine: Shostka Volunteer Community Center
Good Deeds Day 2024 reached every corner of Ukraine, not just the major cities but also smaller towns.
Volunteers from the Shostka Volunteer Community Center assisted residents in border towns and worked on improving parks and recreational areas in their neighborhood. Their goal was to make these spaces more enjoyable for children and the elderly in the community.
Local officials, including a deputy, donated the necessary materials to repair swings, demonstrating once again the importance of partnerships and how they enable us to achieve more together.

Hong Kong: Hands On Hong Kong
Good Deeds Day 2024 was celebrated with a remarkable variety of activities in Hands On Hong Kong, bringing together volunteers from all walks of life. From beach clean-ups and recycling campaigns to blood donation drives, the event saw significant community involvement. These efforts not only promoted environmental sustainability by reducing waste and improving cleanliness but also supported public health initiatives. The collective actions of these dedicated volunteers made a tangible impact on the environment, showcasing the power of community in driving positive change.
Croatia: Croatian Association of Nurses
The County Hospital of Čakovec celebrated Good Deeds Day thanks to the volunteers from the Croatian Association of Nurses, who organized a flower planting event at the entrance of the hospital.
Additionally, hospital workers visited students at St. George Primary School in Breg. The students sent encouraging messages and well wishes for the patients, spreading positivity and support within the community.

Congo Brazzaville: Good Deeds Day Congo Brazzaville
Volunteers from Good Deeds Day Congo Brazzaville organized a cleaning campaign at Chaminade High School in partnership with the school’s administration and staff. The event saw active participation from the school’s director, Ferdinand Romain Bouka, as well as all the school workers.
This initiative not only improved the cleanliness and hygiene of the school environment but also promoted environmental awareness among students and staff. By removing waste and enhancing the school’s surroundings, the campaign contributed to a healthier and more pleasant learning environment, demonstrating the impact of collective efforts in fostering environmental stewardship.

Sri Lanka: Good Deeds Day Sri Lanka
Volunteers for Good Deeds Day Ceylon, in partnership with the Kekirawa Learning Centre, organized a beach clean-up. Both local community volunteers and visitors joined together to celebrate Good Deeds Day 2024 and make a positive impact on the environment. This collaborative effort helped improve the coastal area, promoting environmental awareness and community involvement.
Guatemala: MuniGuate Youth Community
The youth from the volunteer program of the Municipality of Guatemala City joined Good Deeds Day 2024 with a high-impact project called “Rejuvenating My Neighborhood.” This initiative involved cleaning, painting, and beautifying a park in Zone 21, showcasing their commitment to improving their community and environment.
Honduras: Good Deeds Honduras
Volunteers from the Good Deeds Honduras chapter in Río Blanquito celebrated Good Deeds Day 2024 with a project called “I Clean, Do You?” This initiative involved a clean-up campaign aimed at reducing the negative impact of litter and preventing the proliferation and accumulation of various types of solid waste.
Good Deeds Day, an annual global day of doing good, is the pinnacle of doing good year-round. Good Deeds Day has grown to 115 countries with millions of participants. Good Deeds Day 2025 will take place on April 6.
