GOOD DEEDS DAY IN DOMINICA
I Have A Right Foundation Inc. has been an active participant and country leader in Good Deeds Day from 2019. Since then, we have undertaken several programs and activities spanning across various communities on the beautiful island of Dominica. These included community projects such as inspirational murals, national school projects, girl’s empowerment programs, volunteer training, feeding programs and cleanup campaigns. We are excited to once again embark on a journey of engaging our eager volunteers, doing good to and for others and building our GDD network stronger and more inclusive in the upcoming year.

MAIN ISSUES
Dominica is a beautiful natural paradise ideally situated in the middle of the Caribbean. She boasts of a rich, diverse heritage founded upon a history much like the rest of the region. Despite its breathtaking authentic landscape, many social issues exist, necessitating intervention on micro and macro levels of leadership.
I Have A Right Foundation Inc. contributes to this effort through empowerment, leadership and social programs aimed at improving the lives of children, youth and women. We recognize the challenges of a changing climate, poverty, unemployment, violence against youth and limited youth involvement in Dominica.
Hence, our mission is to equip children and youths with the knowledge, skills and resources to become active leaders in social change.
At I Have A Right Foundation, we believe that realizing the rights and potential of every child is important to building sustainable communities and a stronger world. We value children, girls and youth as active partners who have the power to change their World for the better. We are passionate and determined to create platforms that give children, girls and youth a voice by educating them about their rights and enabling them to become changemakers through leadership and creative programs.
A single action can make a difference in our community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and empowerment activities, our team of volunteers work passionately to contribute to the holistic development of others!
