GOOD DEEDS DAY IN GUATAMALA
Guatemala became a member of Good Deeds Day in 2016. Since that year, we have established partnerships and carried out several projects together with many other organizations in the country. In 2017, we hosted the First Regional Good Deeds Day Conference for Latin America, which took place in Antigua and included the participation of more than sixty people in eighteen countries in the region.
We invite you to join us and become part of a constant, annual movement of national scope.

MISSION STATEMENT
In Guatemala, to celebrate Good Deeds Day we normally hold a main activity, open to the general public, where we can do good. For instance: volunteering fairs where NGOs can share their projects and the ways in which people can provide support, a massive volunteering activity where any person may sign in and provide a benefit to the community, etc.
In addition, we organize volunteer projects on different areas of sustainable development, mainly focused on issues such as poverty, education and health. Currently, due to the pandemic, we focused on collaborating with people living in the streets, bringing them warm meals and love.
SDG Focus
FEATURED PROJECT
Both in 2020 and 2021 we focused on offering support to vulnerable sectors or teaming up with institutions that are helping members of communities affected by the pandemic in some way. During the coronavirus pandemic, we have been supporting different projects in the country, such as the Streets Outreach Day with its Food Pantry, giving away provisions, and a Christmas dinner at the end of the year for people living in the streets.
