GOOD DEEDS DAY IN MONTENEGRO
In Montenegro, ZID typically takes responsibility for coordinating national-level activities fo
r Good Deeds Day, ensuring participation from communities across the country. However, specific focus areas often include:
Central Region: Primarily around Podgorica, the capital, where ZID is based, and nearby municipalities such as Danilovgrad and Nikšić. Activities here often focus on urban volunteering projects, schools, and public spaces.
Southern Region: This includes coastal areas such as Budva, Kotor, and Bar, with a focus on environmental activities like beach clean-ups and community support for tourism-driven towns.
Northern Region: Rural and mountainous areas such as Bijelo Polje, Pljevlja, and Rožaje, with an emphasis on supporting vulnerable communities, schools, and ecological preservation.
Each region’s activities are tailored to its needs, ensuring wide engagement and impact across Montenegro.
