1. Locate a home or hospital for kids and adults with mental illness, autism or disability.

1. Gather a group of kids or youth.
2. Find a market, supermarket or shopping center to hold your activity in.

1. On a weekly or biweekly basis organize a melting pot dinner. Invite 5-8 members of your organization/company and 5-8 beneficiaries (refugees, foreigners, or other newcomers of the community)
2. Pick a menu and get cooking! Everyone can prepare their dishes separately before-hand and bring them, or you can prepare the meal together. We suggest putting together a menu that encompasses different dishes that your guests will be able to teach you how to make, while also being able to share the cultural significance behind the food
3. Organize other activities that promote interaction among everyone- such as place-mat ice breakers or having at least two of your guests to share a story (one from a beneficiary and one from a colleague)
4. Lastly, have a debrief where everyone can talk about the evening, what their expectations were, what they learned, and how the experience has impacted them

1. Make sure that there’s an intact irrigation infrastructure and someone who will be responsible to care for the garden year-round.
2. Purchase seeds, soil, and gardening tools.
3. Getting started:
   • Prepare the area: uproot weeds and old seedlings.
   • If the soil is hard or dry, water and wait for about 15 minutes.
   • Dig and turn over.
4. Plant seeds and water!

Create an interactive mural in different places around the world to bring people together.

1. Select different communities around the world you’d want to connect. These could be branches of a company, youth movements, schools etc.
2. Brainstorm together to find a topic all communities care about and design your mural accordingly. This could be anything – poverty, violence, environment – anything you have in common and care about.
3. Divide the mural into separate pieces and assign each community a part of the puzzle.
4. Each community paints their part of the mural, and you can piece the puzzle together to create an interactive piece of art that connects your communities regardless of race, language and culture.
