- On a weekly or biweekly basis organize a melting pot dinner. Invite 5-8 members of your organization/company and 5-8 beneficiaries (refugees, foreigners, or other newcomers of the community)
- Pick a menu and get cooking! Everyone can prepare their dishes separately before-hand and bring them, or you can prepare the meal together. We suggest putting together a menu that encompasses different dishes that your guests will be able to teach you how to make, while also being able to share the cultural significance behind the food
- Organize other activities that promote interaction among everyone- such as place-mat ice breakers or having at least two of your guests to share a story (one from a beneficiary and one from a colleague)
- Lastly, have a debrief where everyone can talk about the evening, what their expectations were, what they learned, and how the experience has impacted them
