The mission of the center is to support volunteers, helping them in choosing volunteer activities and providing them professional support.

Moldova is a neighboring country from Ukraine. Thousands of refugees come to them every day, waiting for help. How they are helping in crisis?

Hotline – a hotline telephone, which can be called by refugees from Ukraine, or people who are in Ukraine on the issue of arrival in Moldova. The line operates from 8:00-22:00 daily. Volunteers and employees of the center work behind it. They provide information and help with accommodation, transport, repatriation to Israel in Moldova

Call Center – calling the elderly from Ukraine (more than 500 contacts daily). Every day we work with lists of elderly people from Ukraine. The volunteers fill out applications on the condition of the elderly and urgent requests from the elderly: the need for medicines, food, evacuation, psychological support, etc.

Humanitarian Aid – they collect humanitarian aid for refugees from Ukraine who are residing here in Moldova. What they collect: blankets, pillows, dishes (pots, pans), kettles, non-perishable food, personal hygiene products.

Volunteering – they provide assistance with resettlement / transit / meeting of refugees from the Jewish communities of Ukraine who arrive in Moldova. As they arrive, their volunteers and team are responding to the incremental requests and dispatching volunteers to provide support.

SOS Wioski Dzieciece Ukraina/SOS Children’s Village Ukraine

In Ukraine, over 64,000 children are cared for by foster families, and over 98 thousand are under institutional custody. SOS Ukraine employees predict that 16,000 of them will soon need immediate support in terms of finding a safe haven, organizing transport, food, medical and psychological assistance.
Many children from the orphanage have been now without any care from adults.

The educators left the pupils because they are fighting at the frontlines or they have evacuated with their families. SOS Ukraine urgently organizes volunteers and measures to provide care for children abandoned. They are asking for support so that they can provide direct help to abandoned children and foster families in Ukraine.
